QRfound, AirTag and Tile – what differs
People look for an AirTag alternative, something for Android, or a tag without a subscription. QRfound is not a tracker. It does a different job: a person who has the item should be able to reach you.
Two different tools
A Bluetooth tracker such as AirTag or Tile reports into a network of other devices. You see roughly where the transmitter last was. It needs a battery, and an AirTag mainly needs Apple devices nearby.
QRfound transmits nothing. The sticker waits until a camera reads it. A page opens, the finder enters place and contact details, you get an email. Without that person there is no position.

When the tracker is the better choice
You want to know whether the bag is still on the train or already on the platform, without anyone helping. That is what a transmitter is for. QRfound cannot answer that.
When the QR code is the better choice
Someone already holds the keys, uses Android, or the tracker battery is flat. A location network does nothing then. A scannable code does. The finder does not need the same system as you.

The first 3 items are free. An extra pack contains 10 items for 5.00 € and lasts 1 year. There is no device to buy and no battery in the sticker. The report stores only what the finder types, and only after they tick the privacy notice.
