A QR luggage tag for travel
A suitcase stays at the belt or gets mixed up. A tag with your full address is an open address book while you travel. QRfound puts only a code on the handle: whoever scans it can write to you, but cannot see where you live.
At the airport and in the hotel
Staff and other travellers almost always have a phone with a camera. They do not install an app or create an account. The page is short on purpose: item, form, consent, send.
You get the report by email even if you are already in a taxi. A short note also arrives when someone only opens the code, before they leave contact details.
No battery to go flat on the road
Trackers need power. When the battery is empty, the bag disappears from the network. The QR code stays readable. It does not tell you which hall the suitcase is in. It lets a person reach you.

What happens without reception
In a hold or a lift a phone often has no signal. The page will not load and no message is sent. As soon as the finder is online again – in arrivals, on hotel Wi-Fi – the same tag works. You do not renew the code.
Print it and fix it to the handle
Print the code as a sticker or a narrow strip for the handle. Laminating or a firm card protects it from rain. Create a suitcase item so the found page shows that icon.

Does the finder need the QRfound app?
No. A camera and a browser on any common phone are enough.
Does this replace the airline’s tracing?
QRfound is for people who have the bag in their hands. It does not replace the airline’s baggage search.
